Our 50km route will combine challenging undulating trails & fast runnable sections, providing a testing but accessible ultra race.
The Chiltern Hills & our event base sit 45 minutes North West of London and forms the perfect stage for this event.

The race starts at the top of Aston Hill (adjecent to Wendover Woods) and starts with a sweeping woodland decsent before climbing up to Hastoe and joining the Ridgeway National Trail. You follow this pathway through to its end point at Invinghoe Beacon, 16.5km into the route.
Ivinghoe is the furthest point east and is surrounded by the National Trust's beautiful Ashridge Estate. Following these paths you complete the outer loop and find yourself in Aldbury, just over half way through.
You retrace your steps to Hastoe and then move onto the Chiltern Way trail, before merging back onto The Ridgeway and making your way home to the finish.

There will be stalls serving coffee, food and local beer throughout the day until 6pm.
Please note - This route map is provisional and subject to minor changes.
There will be three fully stocked aid stations on route, these are at the approximately - 10.6km, 27km & 41km.

We will not be providing bottles, so it is essential you have a refillable bottle or cup with you.

All runners will receive a unique finishers medal.
There will be prizes awarded to the race winners, V40+ category and a team prize (first team to have three finishers).

The start/finish and event base is located at:
Hill Farm, Aston Hill, Halton, Aylesbury, HP22 5NQ.
Hill Farm has camping facilities which can be booked via their website.
The event base is a 10 minutes drive from Wendover itself, where there are hotels, B&B's and a train station.
There are no trains early enough to get there for the start, so it is advised to make arrangements to arrive the day before or drive on the morning on the event.
