Our half marathon route will combine challenging undulating woodland trails & fast runnable sections, providing a testing but accessible race.
The Chiltern Hills & our event base sit 45 minutes North West of London and form the perfect stage for this event.

The race starts at the top of Aston Hill (adjecent to Wendover Woods) and starts with a sweeping woodland decsent before climbing up to Pavis Wood and into the village of Hastoe.
Leaving Hastoe your steer South onto the Chiltern Way, the start of a flatter middle section through some beautiful countryside. A brief stop at The Old Swan pub for our aid station (11.7km) will leave you in good condition for the second half.
As you reach the 13km mark, you join The Ridgeway National Trail and sweep through multiple woodlands and making your way home and back to the finish.

There will be stalls serving coffee, food and local beer at throughout the day until 6pm.

There will be a fully stocked aid station on route at 11.7km.

We will not be providing bottles, so it is essential you have a refillable bottle or cup with you.
Registration to the half marathon is £30 (or £28 to attached runners) and includes the following:

Please bring a reusable cup if you would like some electrolyte drink from the aid stations.
All runners will receive a unique finishers medal.
There will be prizes awarded to the race winners, V40+ category and a team prize (first team to have three finishers).

The start/finish and event base is located at:
Hill Farm, Aston Hill, Halton, Aylesbury, HP22 5NQ.
Hill Farm has camping facilities which can be booked via their website.
The event base is a 10 minutes drive from Wendover itself, where there are hotels, B&B's and a train station.
There are a few trains from London that will get you to Wendover in time for the race. Please check the timetable
